Mon, May 16, 2005 - 9:10 AMi would reccomend any of the pimsleur cds, if that is the manner in which you must learn languages. They are not terribly comprehensive when it comes to grammar, but they have oodles of repetitive exercises and pronounciation practice. keep them in your car so you can listen to them pretty much any time : )

To learn Japanese I would recommend the 'Rapanese' CD's. They are Japanese phrases and sentences put to rap music. Great stuff and very catchy!
